Angela McCann has over 18 years specialist search and selection experience and has developed an outstanding reputation for recruiting Senior Manager, Executive and Board Level Professionals.

She has broad experience as a search professional and a proven track record of delivering a high quality search and selection service to both public and private companies in the UK and internationally.

Angela can provide solution led advice on talent acquisition and career pathing for both decision makers and individuals.

She believes in a partnership approach to recruitment, ensuring a detailed understanding of employer/jobseeker requirements and delivering a bespoke service underpinned by professionalism, pragmatism and strong market knowledge.

Outside of work and family Angela loves to travel and enjoys many sports. In particular, she loves to enjoy the great outdoors and has recently conquered the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro.

Alistair Shaw

Alistair has 20 years’ experience in recruitment, partnering with some of the world’s best-known brands to build successful leadership teams. Previously MD of Hudson Scotland, Alistair now has a focus on the fast-growing technology & fintech sectors.

Alistair graduated in Business & IT from Edinburgh Napier University where he still returns to advise on one of the business school’s professional steering groups. Following an analyst role with a global technology firm, Alistair worked in the recruitment sector for FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 businesses. Here he built his strong network of contacts before moving into his more operational leadership roles in recent years.

Alistair is passionate about D&I and sees his role as an important one in which he can support organisations to develop authentic diversity initiatives by appointing the best modern leaders. He is also a trusted advisor to Scottish Development International’s inward investment team and has supported many organisations looking to set up their global business services in Scotland.

Atif Hussain
Atif Hussain
Atif has over 8 years of technology recruitment experience gained across a range of industries and sectors. He has developed expert level knowledge of the tech market in Scotland and his relationship-led approach has made him the consultant of choice for many organisations and candidates. He is well-versed in recruiting in both contract and permanent markets.

Atif works in close partnership with his clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs and then works tirelessly to attract and retain top talent for them. His academic background in Marketing combined with a deep understanding of the market has also allowed him to assist many organisations develop meaningful value propositions to increase brand awareness.

For his candidates, Atif is highly knowledgeable and can be relied upon to find the right role which fits the candidates technically and culturally. Atif is very thorough with his candidates and always ensures that he represents them in the best way possible and help them stand out from the crowd.

Outside of work Atif likes to stay active through playing sports, running, hiking and walking. He is a keen football and cricket fan. He also enjoys photography.

Josh Moreland
Josh Moreland
Josh has specialised in the IT sector for the last decade – initially in Dublin and, since 2010, in supporting clients and candidates in central Scotland with project-driven technical resourcing solutions. He has worked across a range of business – engaging with large FTSE and blue-chip multi-nationals, through to SMEs, start-ups and public-sector clients. He has worked in scoping and shaping technical turnkey programmes of work as well as providing talent augmentation solutions across a raft of industries and locations. He joins Hamilton Forth to service a diverse client-base with initiatives underpinned by digital transformation, software engineering and robust cloud and virtual architecture.

Outwith recruitment, Josh is an avid sportsman who plays football and golf as well as swimming, cycling and hill-walking. He enjoys movies, pub quizzes and travelling to new countries.

Originally from Glasgow, Josh has lived in Edinburgh for a number of years now and has recently bought a house just south of the city which he looks forward to moving in to in 2021.

After graduating with an MA (Hons) Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, Kirsty has spent the last seven years honing her research and market intelligence gathering skills to provide clients with a high quality, consultative service. She has worked on a multitude of challenging assignments across industries and functions, regularly uncovering the most challenging of profiles.

As Head of Research, Kirsty undertakes all relevant research activities; building the potential candidate pool, managing the administration of the assignment and compiling all relevant management information and assignment reports. She also acts as our in-house Psychometric assessor, qualified in Saville Assessment.
